I have been agonizing over what to post to my journal here on DA because, well, I think the fact that some of us use DeviantArt primarily as a showcase and an online portfolio keep us (as in those that do this)from really expressing our feelings. We don't want to scare potential clients away by musing about our lives, when in all honesty it's those lives that ARE the muse for our creativity. If we expect them to "buy us", then I feel they should know who "we" are.

But I mean, lets face it, who's gonna read a journal on an art site, right? At least that's what has always been the flipside of that arguement, to which I counter, "..uhm..What?"

Look at the plethora of writers here on DA. You can read a writer's postings, browsing their gallery to find choice bits and then maybe even printing them and perusing them with interest.

Or not.

The choice is yours...I'm gonna post my journal here, with all it's tiny, minuscule, infinitesimally small imperfections.
